Child Safety Not Being a Priority in Childcare

In July a childcare worker was charged with more than 70 offences against children in his care, including sexual assault. The alleged offender worked at multiple childcare centres across Melbourne. The scandal revealed failures in the childcare regulation scheme, leading to calls for an overhaul of the sector.
