Make friendship paper necklaces

Celebrate National Reconciliation Week

Activity time: 30 minutes

Reconciliation is about strengthening the relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the wider Australian community. Strong relationships mean being respectful, fair, listening, learning, trusting and sharing – like being a good friend.

It takes every single person to achieve reconciliation. To do this, we can learn about our shared histories, cultures, achievements and contributions and explore ways to be better friends.

In this video we make friendship paper necklaces and explore ways to learn about each other and be better friends.
