Warren Brown’s ANZAC Day cartoon highlights two of the issues putting the Australian Defence Force in the headlines. The Brereton Report into alleged war crimes by Australian Special Forces continued to have an impact, and high rates of suicide among veterans and serving personnel were dubbed a crisis, triggering the announcement later in the year of a Royal Commission.

The Museum of Australian Democracy acknowledges Australia's First Nations peoples as the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia.
