John Shakespeare

John Shakespeare is a Walkley Award–winning, Sydney-based cartoonist, caricaturist and illustrator. He is best known for his prior work at The Sydney Morning Herald over the last four decades. Before that, he worked for The Courier- Mail and the Sydney Sun. He grew up in Brisbane, inspired by cartoonists of MAD and Cracked magazines. He has also won three Stanley Awards, in 1992, 2004 and 2005.
