Mirranda Burton is an artist, illustrator, educator and graphic novelist living on Wurundjeri Land. Her first graphic novel, Hidden, which was published by Black Pepper in 2011, received an Aurealis Award and a Gold Ledger. Her second book, Underground: Marsupial Outlaws and Other Rebels of Australia's War in Vietnam, was published by Allen & Unwin in 2021, winning a Bronze Ledger and The Readings YA Award. Both graphic novels have been released in French by La Boîte à Bulles.
