Melbourne-based Judy Kuo reflects on daily life in the city that set the world record for the length of time spent in lockdown. Fellow artist and exhibition researcher, Meg O’Shea, commented that by ‘bringing together a series of atmospheric details in the one composition, Kuo perfectly communicates the stillness and dislocation from space and time that came with one of the defining markers of this period — a prolonged lockdown’.
