Pride of Place

Chris Downes invokes the bold simplicity of the Aboriginal flag for his take on Ash Barty’s Wimbledon triumph. Striking the tournament’s traditional trophy pose, a beaming Barty seems to effortlessly hold aloft not just the famous Rosewater Dish but the pride and history of generations of First Nations Australians.
