Last century’s Space Race was a duel between Cold War superpowers. In the 21st century, it’s a race between billionaires Richard Branson, Jeff Bezos and Elon Musk. Branson was first into space, but the richest man in the world, Jeff Bezos, was happy with his ‘best day ever’, despite it costing him about US$1.38 billion per minute.
