Or, given the current dire circumstances, will it prove to be a poisoned chalice? Of course, Labor sustained a few casualties along the way: in the background, Kristina Keneally has failed to splash down successfully after being parachuted into what seemed a safe Labor seat. Meanwhile, the Greens and independents celebrate their wins.
